I am tired of people. Let’s go to Mars

I am tired of people. Let’s go to Mars.
Listen, they say they have view on mars,
In the midst of July, the sunrise is better seen
From up above, is there a place somewhere for
The insane and the unloved?
Let’s go,
Let’s go,
Let’s go,
I wonder if Saturn’s ring truly does feel like
A merry go round? Does the moon have a
Table for two? Does it mind the feel of footsteps
Upon its back? Do the stars quarrel about the
Gender and the politics of things?
Let’s go
Let’s go
Let’s go
we will wilt under the piercing rays of the sun,
undress our gender, the merciless indifference of last
December, ideologies and anything left to wonder
Until we are nothing but two skeletons,
Holding hands in the dark so,
Let’s go,
Let’s go,
Let’s go,
We will slip from the earth’s gravity
And disappear into the horizon
