Her Memoir

Serisha Kahn came from work at two A.M. in the morning. She was a bartender in a bar which was walking distance from her apartment. For her it was still early to go to sleep. Usually when she got home, she worked on her memoir about how she abandoned her family. She slept just before sunrise, taking her breakfast first. Every morning she slept in frustration. It was not possible to write the memoir in the original form as it would reveal her real name. She wrote several versions of the memoir, but it was not working. For if she changed her name in the story that would require changing her village name too, because her dad, who was a poet, named her after a mountain in the village.
