The doctors surprised,
“What?, what a name”
Later that day the doctors were told,
“No, we’re not sure”
They further added, “The baby is adopted”
We’re gay partners, yes gay partners
They cried, cried, cried and cried
They said that the baby was adopted
They couldn’t stop crying
They said that her parents were dead and that she was adopted
The doctors wrote, “What?”
They wrote ‘What’ on her discharge sheet
She was discharged and was named ‘What’
From the hospital
the baby got her given name
but no family name
because her parents were not known
they were dead long long ago
She was named What
and she got no second name
because she was orphan
